The PSA Education Committee is dedicated to promote and improve teaching and research in phycology through such activities as seminars, conferences, workshops, and production of educational materials, such as films and electronic media items; and recommend contracts to the Executive Committee for approval.

USA Science & Engineering Festival (2012)

PSA was an official partner for the 2nd USA Science & Engineering Festival that was held in the greater Washington DC area on April 2012. Attendees explored 2,000 free, hands-on, science & engineering activities and over 100 stage shows and author presentations. The two-day expo was a perfect opportunity for teens, children and their families, to meet science celebrities, award-winning science authors and Nobel Prize winners from the past and present.
